Well, well, well, all of a sudden it's merely hours away from the new year, and what a year it has been. I've learned a lot this year, mostly about myself and the world around me. Picking up a pencil and drawing a picture of Mickey Mouse in March was the best thing I could've done. I not only remembered that I could draw, but I opened a whole new world of opportunity, self- expression, and stress-relief. 2015 was definitely the year of "If you're not gonna do it... someone else will." This was a sure eye-opener for a person who struggled with worrying about what other people think. One huge thing I learned is, you can't look for outside sources for confirmation or fulfillment. All of that has to come from within... cliché I know, but it's true.
NEVER doubt yourself. Recognize your talents and tap into them. Everyone has a gift, and it's up to you to discover it and share it... or not. This year, I have definitely discovered a lot of things that I excel in, that I wouldn't even pay attention to before. Society wants you to figure out what you want to do with the rest of your life before you can even legally buy a beer at a restaurant. I think that's ridiculous, and as a junior in college... time's a tickin'. I haven't figured out exactly what I want to do with my life, but I definitely want to share my gifts with others and be the best that I can possibly be. Shoot for the stars? I'm going to end up in another dimension (Interstellar reference... great movie btw). But anywho, 2015 was great, I started to understand myself, family, art, and how to use your third eye in every situation. My best friend Kayla always says "Always be the smartest in the room." Major key.
I'm so excited for all of the wonderful opportunities 2016 has in store. Stay tuned to TheLexiShow.com. Some exciting stuff is coming soon. Come with me on the journey to more success! Happy New Year everyone!
