So... it's May 15th, and my two hardest kinesiology finals are merely hours away. Although I am not particularly interested in electroencephalography or magnetoencephalography at the moment, I have so many things to look forward to. I have officially been offered a Sales & Marketing Summer Internship at Complex in New York City. This is something that I've been dreaming of for years, and I am so blessed to have this opportunity. I cannot wait to see what the summer has in store for me, my brand, work experience, and network.

I am a kinesiology major, which has absolutely nothing to do with sales and marketing, but my art, blog, and dance experience have helped me secure the position. So, do NOT let anyone tell you that your major defines your career path because you can truly do whatever you desire. You just have to want it like nothing else.

My New York life-changing experience might be days away, but I have business to handle here at school first. Kinesiology is definitely not the most exciting material to be cramming into your brain in the wee hours of the night, but I have learned to cope. I've been listening to super vibey and relaxing music lately. The most recent Soulection show is what I have been bumpin' for most of the day during my studying. This might be one of my favorite Soulection shows yet because it features one of my favorite beat-makers and producers, Monte Booker. If you don't know what Soulection is, it's basically a label, radio show, and art collective set on featuring dope and progressive music. Please be my guest and listen to this Soulection Episode 259, and thank me later. Happy Studying!
