GOLF *inserts hand clap emoji* WANG *inserts another hand clap emoji* If someone asked me to describe Tyler's set for his fashion show, I would say that it's like an inverse reality dream world. Lit right? Tyler starts the show by taking us through his daily wake-up routine that is pleasantly accompanied with almost animated-looking props. The set looks straight out of a coloring book, which is a pretty similar style to his "Fucking Young" video. Tyler's creativity definitely is displayed through the entire show, top to bottom. It's like he gives the audience a chance to see what's going on in that crazy mind of his... and it's DOPE.
After Tyler's solo introduction scene, he opens the door to his dreamlike house, and the models appear on mini bikes and the coolest skate gear you could imagine. The runway is a literal skater's paradise, and the models are goofing off and enjoying a fashionably normal day at the park in front of the audience's eyes. The entire vibe reminds you of a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and the music is a soothing instrumental that reminds me of Kaytranada.
Of course Tyler put a lyrically artistic spin on the show and spit a few FLAME bars from his song "My Ego." The song pretty much sums up how people perceive Tyler as arrogant because he has power and is successful, but they only think this because of the amount of melanin that is reflected on his epidermis (that's skin for my friends who don't like science). Deep stuff.
I thoroughly enjoyed Tyler's show. Even though I watched the stream on youtube, I felt like I was sitting in the audience next to my homies Kanye and Kendall. Not really. But Tyler, on the other hand, has definitely put his mark on the fashion world and has set a new standard for creativity on the runway. Hopefully sometime soon, I'll be able to see his show in person. But for now, youtube will do. Check out his show!
